“Place Your Art Here” Famous Musician Exhibition
@ The Walnut Room

Last week Sedso Design opened the third installment of Place Your Art Here at the Walnut Room in Center City. Titled the Famous Musician Exhibition, the show offers a variety of musically inspired works ranging from Chubby Checker to Biggie Smalls (The Notorious B.I.G.).

With this show Sedso definitely made a mark by taking the “place your art” concept to the next level. Some pieces from the show were selected to be part of the Walnut Room bartop which was installed just hours before the opening.

If you missed the first opening you can catch the next at Sedso Design’s studio in the Piazza on April 23rd. For any interested artists, Sedso will also be accepting new submissions for the second show until April 15th.

Just a quick peak below. Visit for more info.

J. Period, John Legend & The Roots Present Wake Up! Radio – FREE DOWNLOAD!

If you’re like me, you may have been a little disappointed to find that the Roots and John Legend collaboration album featured much more of John Legend than Black Thought. This is no knock on Legend or the original Wake¬†Up! album that was released last fall (which is probably cleaning up at the Grammy’s as I type). It’s just that the Legend to Thought ratio was a bit skewed.

For those of you craving more rhymes, J. Period is offering a remix compilation album featuring John Legend, The Roots, Rakim, Common, Nneka, Q-Tip, Pete Rock & CL Smooth and many others. The best part… it’s free to download at!
